1. Effect of boron deficiency: Boron deficiency in crops is not conducive to the operation of carbohydrates. 2. Mild boron deficiency: Mild boron deficiency is characterized by abnormal growth points, deformed leaves, shrinkage and thickening, chlorosis between veins, and brittle leaves and stems, which interferes with transpiration.

3. Intensified boron deficiency: When boron deficiency is intensified, the growing point will die, and the growth of flowers and fruits will be blocked, the roots will be slender and dense, the root tip will be necrotic, the pollen vitality and germination rate will be reduced, and the germinated pollen tube will be slowly elongated and bent.

4. Poor transport capacity: Due to the poor transport capacity of boron, when crops are short of boron, they are generally characterized by whitening of new leaves, rough and twisted leaves and early yellowing of old leaves.
